Meet Ritu Rani ( Ritzy)
I'm Ritu Rani, Founder of Lotus Mind Play Therapy and a VIT Registered Teacher with over 10+years of experience supporting children, families, and educators across Australia.
As a migrant, my journey has shaped my understanding of resilience, cultural diversity, and the importance of creating safe, inclusive spaces where every child and family feels valued and understood. These experiences inspire my compassionate, family-centred approach to supporting children from all backgrounds.
Over the past decade, I have worked across schools, early learning services, youth and community organisations, and the NDIS sector, including leadership roles as a Centre Director and Educational Leader. For the past five years, I have specialised in delivering NDIS-funded early intervention and play-based therapeutic supports, working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to help children build confidence, communication, emotional regulation, social skills, and independence.
At Lotus Mind Play Therapy, I believe every child has unique strengths and the potential to thrive when provided with the right support. My goal is to empower children through meaningful play, strengthen family relationships, and create positive outcomes that extend beyond therapy into everyday life.
I am committed to providing evidence-informed, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming support that celebrates each child's individuality while helping them reach their full potential.
“Every child has the ability to bloom, even in life’s toughest challenges. My role is to provide the safe, nurturing space for that growth to happen.”
At Lotus Mind Play Therapy, I am committed to ongoing professional learning to ensure children and families receive evidence-informed, high-quality support.
